Bitcoin Token Standard Gains Popularity
BRC-20 is a fungible token created using Ordinals and Inscriptions on #bitcoin. It uses inscriptions of JSON data to deploy token contracts, mint tokens, and transfer tokens. BRC-20 token was created by @domodata on March 8th, 2023.
$ORDI tokenized on BSV demonstrates its novel utility.
There have already been over 1 million BRC-20 inscriptions, accounting for roughly 6% of all Bitcoin activity since the standard inception.
