The Stacks Nakamoto Upgrade goes Live
Nakamoto brings Bitcoin finality and fast blocks to Stacks
Hi Bitcoin Builders,
It’s been another busy week in Bitcoin. We saw product upgrades, VC capital raised, and BTC almost reached its all-time high price in dollars.
This week, the Stacks Nakamoto Upgrade went live. It’s a significant milestone for the ecosystem.
With the upgrade, Stacks transactions have Bitcoin finality — once confirmed, they are at least as irreversible as Bitcoin's. Transaction times have also been significantly reduced. Finally, Nakamoto has set the foundation for sBTC, a tokenized version of Bitcoin.
Congrats to the Stacks ecosystem! Read more here.
